How to Request Deletion of Your Wallet of Satoshi Account

This article applies to custodial Wallet of Satoshi accounts.

If you use the self-custody version of Wallet of Satoshi, Wallet of Satoshi does not hold your wallet information or control your funds, so there is no custodial account or associated wallet data for us to delete.

Request Account Deletion

If you have a custodial Wallet of Satoshi account and would like to request deletion of your account, email support@walletofsatoshi.com.

Please send the request from the email address associated with your Wallet of Satoshi account, where possible, as we may need to verify that the request is coming from the account owner.

We will process your account closure request within 30 days.

What Happens to My Data?

When your request is processed, we will delete personal information that we are no longer required to retain.

Some information may need to be retained where required by law, including records that we are required to keep to comply with AML/CTF and other legal obligations. This information will be retained only for as long as legally required.
